Yep, I think you were on target to be the first...but now the race is open due to the delay....promisingly, the delayed cars have now been released from the factory and are in transit.....so, maybe, just maybe, I will get mine late next week.

My dealer is closed for more than a week. So mine will get to the dealer a week later than yours, add a week for prep. I'm royally screwed !
Is that why PVMS is still showing Sept. for a number of us AND that our cars are completed?
Though the PVMS shows the car completed, it will not ship until mid September. Also, if I understand the notice correctly, no US car will be officially completed until mid September.
Confirmed today my early car just got pushed out. Last Friday PVMS showed my car going V260 / Entry to Body Shop Actual of 7/13 one day ahead of the 7/14 scheduled date. V300 / Vehicle completion was expected to be 7/21. V900 delivery to dealer inventory was showing expected date of 9/29.
Today the same report still shows V260 on 7/13 but V300 moved to 9/1 and V900 / Dealer inventory is now 11/10...
I was told by a (good) dealer GM this week that ALL 991.2 are being held for US delivery and he is not expecting any of his first allocation ordered cars until late Oct/early Nov (at earliest). He did not know why they were delayed, said they were not told.
The status as of today is that my car went V260 on 7/12 and then the V300 was supposed to be 7/21, but got pushed to 7/28. The delivery date remains the same though as 9/29, albeit all of the actual dates have been pushed back by one week.

I can't believe they would start building a car then go on vacation before it's completed. With mine, they moved the build start date from July 21st to September 9th with a completion date of September 15th. Then it sits for a month before getting on a boat.

Same here.... like you said maybe yours and mine are back to back on the production line. But I think mine is in front of yours...
V300: 7/28
V900: 9/22... but I won't be surprised if this milestone gets delayed a couple more weeks.
My SA told me yesterday that car was built and scheduled for delivery 9-15 but don't count on that date. He said Porsche has not a delivery on time all year.
