I have it on 991 GT3 and can count on one hand how many times I've used it.

On 991.2 GT3 I've spec'd without it.

Worse case you scuff up the black plastic spoiler lip; a $179 part at Suncoast.

As others have said, it really depends on your circumstance. Do you have steep driveway/garage, trailer your car. etc. The re-sale value, value, is debatable. Will be important to those who want it and not to the others.
