PwAg- Thanks for the pictures. The first picture with the RS is the example that I needed. If you take away the black scoops(turbo-like) and front vents and added yellow calipers it will not be too much. I think on the RS picture if I added yellow calipers- the black scoops and front vents make it a little too busy

Yup, set myself a budget and stuck to it. Did I mention standard seats?

Stripper with 2 comfort options, cruise control and auto-dimming rv mirror. My build locked otherwise I even might have changed my mind on those. I did get the front lift which is a must for driving in residential areas here and the 90ltr tank because I want to be driving not filling up the tank

I do think the combination of satin aluminum and steel brakes will be a challenge to keep clean if that matters.

What Pads do you recommend with Steels that would significantly reduce brake dust and not compromise anything else

I use Race Technologies RE10. Hard to source but Clark at Apex can get them.
Not PCCB clean but cleaner then any other OEM or track pad I've tried. Quiet also.

I also plan to nanocoat the car/wheels, I read on here it helps with cleaning the wheels from brake dust.

Default Night blue metallic on GT3

Maybe I have just not realized so far, but today I noticed the color "night blue metallic" in the Porsche configurator. It is offered on the entire range of the 991, except for the GT3 (and the GT2RS). Strange. What do you think, will that be a colour which Porsche has earmarked as "exclusive option" for the upcoming Touring?

I attach some screenshots of a night blue 991 turbo S. Would certainly suit a GT3 well.

Wait.. this is a rennlist holy grail item and just NOW you tell us?

Jokes aside.. how does a brake pad work well and yet not deposit the black stuff?.. I thought that was almost a linear correlation.. more braking coefficient, more black stuff deposited? I need to go study up I guess

They cost more, I only agreed to try them because most teams ran them on Ring 24hours and lasted the longest. They do last longer than any other pad I tried and as a weird side effect they are cleaner, quitter and easier on the rotors then anything else.

Its weird.

Just to make sure I am not overstating how great they are I bought a much cheaper set of Ferrodo pads and will try those, along with the next set of rotors that Mooty has sitting for me..

CA tracks are easy on brakes, so they will last OK I guess either way but I will try to compare.
I doubt I will prefer the Ferrodo but Clarke asked me to compare back to back.

Yes, too bad its missing on the GT3 because the GT4's I have seen look great!
The whole color palette looks like crap to me, but makes sense when PTS is $13K...

I honestly think that's the plan, they've got so many great historic colours around and yet the current gt3 colour choices are as uninspiring as they get... it's like they force you to go down the PTS route.

But then UK market got told "no PTS on 991.2 GT3" a month ago.

I think that is why they the Chalk. CR, and MB but neither of them worth the $4000

The Dark Metallic Blue or the new Metallic Dark Blue they have I would do in a heart beat. Looks great and with Yellow Calipers even better
