.2 GT3 COLOR POLL

I was over st Auto Pros in Glenview today getting my car washed and they were doing a full wrap on a Chalk Panamera. Spent some time absorbing this color. Not a color I would choose but those who do like it I get it. Looked pretty darn good with Black wheels and also have black door handles. It is not a color that pops but is unique in its own nature.
I guess this post is just to reinforce that those who will be ordering Chalk that they will not be disappointed

if you can get a copy of the Porsche hard bound brochure book published 3/17 for the .2 Porsche uses a GR car with black wheels throughout the book and that sold me prior to freeze. I don't think the books are easy to come by however.

All this talk of getting the headlights as black as possible.
What percentage of Singer or Outlaw 911's have the silver halogens? The silver rounds are much a part of the iconic 911 image.
I know it's a GT3... but if I wanted something as close to an all attitude, manual, open window, canyon going, loud and light Outlaw id go silver/gray with black rims, steels and the silver halogens with nozles painted body color for the clean look those customizers advocate through their work.
Food for thought. That Outlaw 964

Do you think GR with PCCBs, Satin Aluminum wheels, and red stitching could work?
Or is it just way too busy and a clash with so many black accents on this model

I went with satin black wheels because of all the black trim in GR. If you can get one of the hard cover brochures from your dealer you will see that Porsche used a GR with satin black throughout the entire brochure as it was the release car I guess. It should help you like it or not.

I think with Black wheels it will look great but I am sort of over Black wheels and really like the Satin Aluminum finish. Just concerned with GR, Black accents, Yellow calipers, and Satin aluminum. That is a lot of different colors to look at and if go with GR a concern

Wish I could find a better pic, but here is a recent 991.2 EU delivery, GR + standard silver wheel + steel brake (body matched lower lip, which would not be my choice).

As you kow, Chris Harris' 991.2 review is exactly what you are talking...looks super sharp, but again, only thing that was throwing my eye a bit was the pccb yellow.
I'm currently at Guards Red 6spd + standard silver wheel + steel brake (red caliper). Interior full leather/red stitch, LWB, black seat belt, red steering wheel center, carbon fiber trim pack, all other visual aspects of interior stock. Sticking with standard silver (german avus silver?) wheel, as I fear satin aluminum will be a hair too bright for me. But I'll make this call upon seeing that wheel in person.
Edit: Here is a 991.1 example ... http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/...1--gt3/1648149 ... with a more refined & light ceramic tint (not the limo privacy tint that guy did), it's a $ look imo.

My build is GR, satin alu wheels and steel breaks with standards lights and a standard interior. I think the "whitish" look on the satin alu wheels provides a nice contrast to the GR.
ps: IMO 911s are one of the few cars that look good with stark contrasting colored wheels such as white or red or even blue.
