that car has painted side skirts which don't look good to me... with chalk i would get as much black contrast as I could. .. door handles etc.

Not sure why there is so much hatred for Miami Blue. PTS snobbery perhaps? I was at a large dealer to give all the colors a once over before my build locks. every non PTS color in a 911 was there. Miami blue pops and stands out among the sea of black/silvers/greys. I personally didn't see it as green. It didn't look washed out--I just don't think it photographs well because I personally thought it was fantastic. If you are on the fence, find one and check it out. You may be surprised based upon the hatred spewed forth on this forum. Still leaning Guards on my build, but really made me think....

yup, could be that in twelve years Miami blue will be the hot PTS that everyone wants... The launch GR is hard to beat, looks great.
The sea of blah colors in the Porsche GT3 palette leaves lots to be desired.

My first choice is Miami but guards is a close second. Does anyone think a) the painted interior looks tacky with guards and b) the white stripes look out of place with guards? It seems a lot or people getting guards get the red stiching but I'm looking to minimize the cost of the build. Thanks

Agreed, painted interior doesn't work. How about the free leather covered trim, gives the interior a very race business look. Exterior looks great! It does need the black LEDs.

Thanks blam and Jimmy. I am going to play around with guards and the leather trim. Ever since chaosoul pointed out to me how awesome the painted interior looks with MB ive been slapping it on every theoretical build. Maybe it doesn't work with red. Ill do it with miami. Anyone picking guards and not going red stiching? Yes I love the black LEDs and would like them.

Here is the GR interior I'm considering. Leather dash and steering column, painted air vent slats, and brushed aluminum anthracite . I love the painted slats mostly because it adds the stitching around of the vents. I'm not a fan of the standard plastic trim.

I have GR, and I got the silver/white stitching as I feel the red stitching is too much ! I also have the red 12 o'clock marking and 2 red six point harnasses.
