Default Melissa Witek says hi!

Slightly off topic, but I bumped into Melissa Witek yesterday in Geneva at a private event regarding the Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar. I mentioned that my US friends at Rennlist miss her much at Porsche. She was touched to hear that and asked me to say hi to all of you!

I guess the best way to keep in touch with her is to order the new Mercedes-AMG Project One! :-)

Looks like I missed you in Geneva! I was there for 4 days from Monday to Friday. Saw the AMG Project One on Tuesday, insane spec and technology!

Darm! Would have been cool to meet up again! Lets just say that the Project One takes road legal cars to a whole new level! :-)

Can you share any details on the car? I was interested until I found the price to be above 2 mil.

No, sorry we all had to sign an NDA.

Currently in the press:
- price is 2,275 MEUR + taxes
- 275 cars will be built
- F1 engine from the 2015 Mercedes F1 car (1.6 liter turbo V6 highly integrated with two additional electric engines, one on the crankshaft, one on the turbo)
- one additional electric engine on each front wheel
- 1000 hp +
- 11.000 RPM
- weight incl. fluids no more than 1300 kg
- automated manual transmission (double clutch not capable of 11.000 RPM)
- car will be able to be driven on the road and will not be a track-only special edition
- target: One of the most fascinating two-seaters to ever hit the road!

Absolutely fascinating and highly passionate project from Mercedes-AMG.

She's a hottie for sure. Did you take a selfie with her?

No cameras allowed. Even had to leave our watches, just in case.

Will it come with a team of engineers for every time you need to start it?

Valvetrain. Which, to be honest, will take how many years in a car like this?

You gotta pay to play.

That's right. Who's going to put 30K on this thing? I wonder what the highest mileage 918 or LaFerrari is? Nowhere near 30K.

If by "nice" you mean angry and loud, I'm pretty sure they will.

But if it's even close to a real F1 engine,
maintenance will be a bear.

Not to mention having your wife or SO ready
with the off-board starter motor
every time you need to get a gallon of milk.
