Please reread my post if you were offended. Its like "art", it was a way to paint an image. Obviously it worked, because you got the message and the sense of frustration. By all means gt3 does not mean for men only. Ex.Sabine Schmitz could drives circles around me. I would love to pay and be a passenger in a Hot Lap while she is the driver. I bet lots of people/die hard motor head, feel the way I do but don't want to say it. Both my son and daughter are in Karting. By all means I intend to raise my daughter as a self confident person with all available opportunities.

Actually I opted the additional option of the removable rear seats when I specced my 350R. Again my kids wants to ride in a sports car. LOL TIP#1 sometimes the obvious is not what it seems.

I am so dismayed to read such boorish and vulgar comments regarding women posted on this forum. Please let's reconsider the way we express our thoughts next time. Not cool.

Anyone have any thoughts on whether wing delete would retain the two air scoops at the back or not? IMO might look a little odd with those two sticking up there, and would probably get in the way of the rising spoiler?

not to hijack your thread
it does pertain.
Maybe the way I present it was misconstrued. Not trying to be hateful

The interesting point is... that wing on the GT3 in actual fact provides no difference in performance for the car. Watch the video below for a very interesting analysis. So removing the wing won't make the car any less performant in real life. The wing, same as the roll cage, are really just there for show rather than substance...

This shows the clubsport option that is available in some countries.

The interesting part is is on line 5, the clubsport option is "nicht in Verbindung mit der Option Touring-Paket (Bestell-Nr. 039)"

ie You cant order the Clubsport option in combination with the Touring Package option (order number 039).

Whilst this text has now been removed (according to Chris3963 who checked), the fact that the touring package has its own order number indicates its more than just a concept, it is something that is coming but not yet announced.

The interesting thing for me is why you cant order the clubsport option in combination with the touring package. Is it that the options just dont make sense? (ie why would you need a rollcage on a "touring" car)?

Or is it that the rollcage would get in the way of the back seats in the touring package???? (I must admit to some bias here, I really, really want a GT3 with back seats)

You can't order clubsport with it, because Porsche doesn't "want" Touring cars looking bad on track. This will be an R without LWFW and carbon fenders.

There are photos of the car here ( https://www.autogespot.pt/porsche-99...kii/2017/04/29 ), it's basically a spoiler remover option, probably an option or two, but I don't think it will have 4 seats.

Quick Reply: 991.2 GT3 will come with "Touring Package" option
