Manual 4 L RS...its all I've wanted for years...
"settled" for 991.1 RS with PDK...lol
Would trade in a heartbeat if Porsche offered .2 RS with manual.
Yes, PDK is faster and idiot proof at the track, but its also about the driving satisfaction of nailing the perfect downshift and hammering it out of the corner on your own.
My lap times, while not slow, will not pay the bills, so a tenth here or there, is irrelevant.

There was a poll conducted for RS current owners and it was 52% for manual, and 48% PDK as I recall. The sample size was very valid from RL members. I was a PDKS guy.

PDK-S, even if it means being ridiculed by guys who feel like "performance drivers" shifting manual gears at random without rhyme or reason (2nd gear goes to illegal speeds, and 3rd gear gets you to suicide speeds on most roads, so there is no "performance" reason to shift, just fuel savings or to feel good)
all this manual hypes is so snobbery and decay
shifting from 2nd to 3rd and back as pass time activities what a deal
there s almost no B-roads where using more than 2 gears (2nd and 3rd)
won t be a clear suicide... in the best case

PDK - S, it works (for me)
I suspect any poll on rennlist that asks the PDK-MT question will lead to a skewed result "because enthusiasts" like manual gear boxes
I noticed Mark Webber prefers the PDK box as well - nice to see Aussies sticking together
