I had a detail shop apply the product straight from delivery of my new car. I'm not sure who makes it but it's called "CQuartz Finest" and now they have a new product called "CQ F Reserve". Just google the name and you'll get all the info needed. By the way, I would definitely do it again. Good luck.

Here are screenshots of all those variants (including the old builder for the gt3rs) from the 3D viewer. Hope it is useful enough for the picture flood.

There continues to be conflicting information on the configurator- what a surprise. I want to know whether the standard silver wheels or the satin aluminum are the lighter-colored silver. Anyone know? I am basically looking for the 911R color wheel.

You're best bet is to speak with your SA, and if you don't get the response you're looking for, PCNA might be able to help. There still are some confusing/wrong info on the configurator. Good luck.

The satin aluminum are closest to or are the exact match to the 911R matte aluminum wheels. Need to call Porsche parts department to be 100% sure but haven't found the time. ****ing Porsche changes words from satin to matte and you're not quite sure what's what.

The satin wheels are brighter. Problem is that the 3D configurator (US at least) is wrong. To get the best idea of both wheels switch between standard and satin on the standard 2D version in the configurator.

3D wrong on Canada and UK too. They too show the Aluminum as the darker wheel, in conflict with the 2D view. If you click on the detail for both wheel options ( the info button), the Aluminum is again shown as the darker wheel. I am pretty sure the reality is the satin aluminum is lighter and brighter than the standard gloss silver.

Well if one is gloss (silver) and one is matte (alu) then the brightness will depend on light source position

Exactly what I said in my earlier post. The silver is gloss, which will show brighter than the matte aluminum. Atleast my opinion.

^^ it really doesnt.

The Matte is Brighter, lichter and whiter. In the dark and in the bright sun.

Thank you! That's what I am looking for though I need some PCNA confirmation I guess. I think the gloss starts with a darker silver paint to begin with, so it's more complicated than the finish alone.

I'm sure I've seen my car parked next to silver wheels plenty of times.

In the dark, dirty with brake dust:

It depends on the direction and distribution of the light sources.

That is what matte is all about.

Not to my eye. Matte brighter lighter whiter under all conditions compared to silver.
