Or just have your shop paint them.

Luckily Porsche is usually willing to let you pay to have all such plastic covered. Just not in the first versions of the builder.

I also bet that they are trivial to remove, so a body shop might do it at a reasonable price with little risk.
The images of the yellow got me thinking that black plastic bits might look ok with a yellow car, or another color which creates a suitable contrast with the black.

Just my unimportant subjective opinion, but I think it was a mistake to roll the car out in red. To my eye, the black plastic bits look more plasticy against the red. But maybe that perception will change over time.

I don't like the plastic intakes or wing end plates either. I'll have them painted locally or if we can get CF parts....I'll go that route.

Has anyone seen Chalk in person???

Same. Those intakes on the rear deck lid look hideous. Would need to have them painted.

Rear deck lid covers are a small cosmetic mod. If that's all we have to critique, it's a good thing!

Are the wing end plates gloss black or more matte? Hard to tell.

Where is our photographer Andrea??

Anyone know if these buckets are compatible with child seats/boosters or are they a no-go like in GT4 secondary to inability to deactivate airbags?

If so, bucket seats will be a no-go for me...

Fun to be reminded that this is the engine in the new GT3... can't wait to see what journos think of it.

Here at Amelia island today ... a nicer gentler more southern version of Pebble...

Nice way to bring back a bit of old school with new models. They have a treasure trove of great colors that aren't being utilized enough in my opinion.
You're so right. There could be so many, one off colours if they made more available. I guess we need to continue to complain more.

Can someone confirm is Sports Seats Plus (4-way) are the exact same physical seats as the Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way)?

I know the 18-ways includes the additional adjustments, memory and electronics, but beyond that do they offer the same shape/style and comfort?

Thanks.
I was worried Chalk would be too light and creamy. Im going to assume its a few shades lighter then Fashion Grey though.

Hard to say. Hopefully, we'll see side by side pics.

I've ordered Chalk and think it will be quite elegant.

Yes, those are the 997 GT2 folding buckets that are still offered in other markets. They are no longer certified in US (just the new LWB's that don't fold, but do add height adjustment which is a big deal for some).

yes I can... I have a 991.1 GT3 with 18-ways and a GT4 with the 4-ways. The seats are the same with the exception of the extra adjustments. I suppose the most important to some might be the adjustable lumbar support on the 18-ways, which the 4-ways doesn't have at all. However, I find both the 18-ways and the 4-ways equally comfortable and supportive and feel identical to my rear side.

If you're going to be the only one driving your car and assuming you don't need to move your seat around every time you get in and out of the car, the 4-ways are a comparative bargain as far as "sofas" go. They also look just as good if not better (fewer buttons and fuss), and I suppose they're probably lighter weight too.
