OBSESSING OVER COLOR
Narrowed it down to four possible colors. Was planning on PTS Fashion Gray, but could NEVER pay up for it even if I could get a slot.
Love playing with new iPad Pro and Photoshop Express, and posting here because it may help others too.
Black or GT Silver are my first two choices. (After having black, it's so hard to go any other way.). White is next. All non-metallic.
Also, if going with non-black wheels I'd go with non-black LEDs. My two-cents, they work best when matched to wheel choice.

Black LED vs PDLS
Full insane mode now.
After having LEDs, don't know how I could pass them up because they work so well. Nevertheless, the PDLS lights look great (more classic look too), and you can save $2,120 vs. black LEDs.

Black with the brightest wheels and lights looks the best -- a classic. Same for white and yellow.

Great work with the pics, bluehorsehoe. BTW, is it horse shoe, or horses hoe? I've always wondered
I personally like and am ordering in GT silver with the silver wheels. It will be a track mostly car, and the color is easy to clean, hides dirt well, and looks good even with track debris on it.

STG: Thank you sir. Your thread is the most exhaustive collection of info for new GT3. Least I could do.
hf1: Yes, this is what I'm thinking too. I like the brighter, satin aluminum wheels on the non-metallic black. Classic. Few wrong choices. Also, love the new matte black finish.
Still don't have a definitive answer on whether or not the standard wheels ("silver paint finish with highly polished surfaces") are the same as those on other 911 models. If so, it would be easy for me to rule these out. My doubt lies in a post that I read a long time ago saying these were an exclusive finish for new GT3. Also, Porsche's description is different than any other wheel offering to my knowledge. Still haven't seen a single picture of these in the wild.
Palting: Thanks. GT Silver is such a beautiful color, especially out of direct sunlight. Are you going with base wheel? All wheel finishes look great on this color. BTW, it's Mr. Horse's Hoe to you!
