I'm just enjoying my moment of glory. I was one of the few that never took PAG's BS. At least the most vocal one!

It's called "marketing spin". Watch the backpedal tomorrow. Worse than a politician.

Personally, I think it will. IMO what made the R special was the fact that it has a 4.0 NA engine with a manual. If you remove the wing of the new GT3 and add LWB's you basically have the exact same car.

I can't wait for AP's video introduction! He's gonna spin it brilliantly! I wonder which journo gets the honor... I REALLY HOPE THE JOURNO WILL ASK HIM SOMETHING ABOUT THE FAMOUS " Flappy paddles are for grandmas ".!!!! Come on journo! I really wish it was me that interviews him!!!

Regardless...AP's the MAN!!! I love him! He just spins what the bean counters tell him...

True. But this ignores the whole Porsche Hotwheels market for cars like the Club Coupe and Endurance Racing Edition. They still carry premiums as will the R.

Anyway, who cares about the values of the others. A subject beat to death already. Regardless, all good news on the .2 GT3.

So when does your order go in Nick? MT or PDK?

I don't know Bronson...whenever the Porsche gods decide I'm worthy... And there are plenty more worthy ahead of me with larger pockets. I'm just a small timer...

Go manual for this one Bronson, trust me! It will be the last of its kind, you will regret it otherwise... You'll find plenty pdk cars in the future...that's all that you'll find... Or stick to what you have...

I suppose that depends on your definition of 'sensible'. If Porsche cranks out the MT GT3 in big numbers over the next couple years, along with successors to the MT GT4 and 911R, the 911R will have proven to not be any sort of milestone in Porsche history. I do think they will always be valuable, not because they are numbered - plenty of 'numbered' Porsches out there carry no significant extra value - besides, 991 is not a small number - but because most of them are unique, like individual Easter eggs or art cars.

IMO the CC, RRV, 50th, and other variations of the GTS will be the first to no longer have 'collector' premiums when the bubble bursts...

I'll take mine in silver, sport buckets, manual, lwfw, nothing else. Stripper. If I can delete radio or sc I will.
