Default Project RSR

In December 2016 we made one last attempt at finding a 991 GT3RS. We were watching the new ones appear on cars.com and contacting each dealership hoping one of the incoming cars would become available. The GM at Porsche Warrington called me right after receiving my email inquiry. He informed me the car I inquired on was sold; however he had received one additional car from PAG. The car was preconfigured and already waiting for a ship at Port Emden.

He sent over the configuration, I called my wife, and the rest is history.

We traded a wonderful 2015 Racing Yellow GT3

On the beautiful 2016 White GT3RS

When we received the receipt for our deposit and it started to sink in that we'd actually be receiving a RS, the creative juices started flowing. We really didn't have to look very far to find a vast wealth of decals, stripes, simple and wild liveries. We found the 2017 RSR to be quite inspired.

Spending a little time up close and personal with these awesome machines at the Rolex 24 at Daytona sealed the deal.

A little creative adaptation and a design started to emerge.

And now the transformation begins...

My wife and I can only take credit for the design concept and providing some of the unique detail graphics that will be in the final implementation. The precision vinyl work is being executed by a real professional in the motorsports livery business, Matt Clark of Matt Clark Designs. I am doing the part removal and reassembly work.

It's going to look awesome! Can't wait to see the final results and see it for real in April.

I guess you certainly know what you're doing. Where did you learn your skills? By the way, love the livery and congrats on your new RS.

My wife and I developed the concept, but Matt Clark of Matt Clark Designs is doing the vinyl installation. I am doing all the part removal and reassembly. I updated the original post as well.
