Finally, after all this time, my Brewster Green 911R is here I took delivery this afternoon from my dealer and drove it straight home to give it a proper bath. It's been a long 11 months journey from speccing the car, seeing the car in Germany and finally, taking delivery.

I want to give a special shout out to Philip Mauney, who has been fantastic to work with at Porsche Exclusive. Building a special car like this is never easy, as dealing with Germany sometimes can be painful and frustrating. But the end result, in my opinion, is simply spectacular!

For those of you who are curious on why Porsche is the most profitable car company in the world, look at my window sticker and you shall find out. Note, my R is not even close to being the highest sticker 911R in North America. There are a few cars with high 300s and low 400s! Now I look forward to breaking her in and canyon carving through Angeles Crest Highway!

Weather was fantastic here in LA yesterday. Went out on a long drive in the Malibu canyons and the beach. Just got my watch back from service, took a quick shot of it. I think the brown croc leather strap matches the Tarpan brown interior quite well.
