This company is starting a group buy for those who might want a laser etched plaque for their GT3/RS.

"Hello everyone, as we’ve had a few individual enquiries about the 991 GT3, I have now set up a group buy listing on our website!

As I have (hopefully) explained, we do have a drawing for the 991 GT3, but it was originally drawn over 2 years ago and since then we have come a long way with the techniques we use to generate the projection views, which produces much better results. As such we’re not really keen on shipping out our old one anymore as it doesn’t reflect our current standard of work!

I have attached a PDF of our old GT3 drawing along with one for our recently completed GT3 RS, as an example of what we can do with the correct set of reference photos. Those reference photos are a crucial ingredient, they need to be done by us to get the best results as there is a specific technique and set of equipment involved which we have developed especially for our purposes, however they do add a layer of complexity to the project.

In order to make this project viable, we need a minimum of 4 orders on our standard A2 size plaque, which we can do at a pre-order discounted price of £269 (normally £299). I have set up a pre-order page for this project (link below), it will show how many orders have been placed so everyone is kept updated with the progress, we will commence with arranging the reference photos once the target 4 orders has been reached.

Please do be aware that there will be a longer lead time for this item as we will need to track down an example, photograph it and then produce the line artwork before we can begin manufacture of the individual pieces.

I'm not the vendor but I will answer on their behalf as I asked the same question.

They can add:

1. Your name
2. Your VIN
3. Your plate

You can ask them directly as well to validate.
