Someone was kind enough to send me a PM today letting me know that the color "Olympic Blue" for the stripes on my RS refers to the name of the 3M color that matches Mexico Blue. It is not Porsche's Olympic/Olympia Blue, which is closer in color to Gulf Blue. So, the stripes/graphics will indeed match the color of the wheels. It will be the evil twin of white and red RS in post #20.

Sounds like a cool looking car with a 997 RS flair. Glad you were to find out the stripes match

Abraham from Hennessy Porsche here. Happy that this special RS found the right home! I could barely get the words out of my mouth before Dave said "I'm on the way!"

This car was a store build from day one and was inspired by the customer ordered white/lava RS on post #20. We are huge fans of Mexico and Riveria so the plan was to do one of those. We learned that Mexico matches better with the stripes so it was a plan; however, it takes an act of congress to do PTS accents without a PTS car. PAG says they have to make a certain quantity of paint, etc. so the mirrors won't be the accent color like the white/lava car.

We are so thankful for the support and kind words many have said about us. It's not easy being one of the good guys in a sea of dealers that don't do business the same way.

A big shout out to Sean, Jonathan, and all the other awesome Smokies guys we know and love!

Abraham has been a pleasure to deal with so far and he is extremely knowledgable on all things Porsche. I'm sure the rest of the transaction will be seamless. Thanks Abraham!
