991 R will prices Tank?
Now that 991.2 GT3 will come w manual.
The price I've seen for these are from 400k Euro and upwards.
What is the true value of this car? 300k €

Value to me is less than RS and maybe less than GT3. Dumb car. Never made sense to me. And on top of that it's ugly.

All this price tanking talk is just insane ............guys it's a car not your kids college fund.

It depends on what the 991.1 GT3 is doing, exactly. We don't know some details such as redline, available options and colors, aerodynamics, etc.
I honestly do not see even 50% of those who do or want to own a 911R being in it mainly for the manual transmission. Not even close.

Value to me means how much enjoyment I get out of something, my car, my wife, my job, etc......
Tough to put a dollar amount on these.
Will R prices tank? Don't really have a feeling on this, b/c economy is too good right now. Let's see what the prices look like in a few years.

I love the car. Want one badly.
That said. - wait for the next stock market correction for major price drops.

Some rumors have actually stated that the manual GT3 will be mandatorily wing-less and PDK-S versions with wings (no idea if this is credible). And others say GT3 Touring will be an option (wingless). We should know fairly soon...

"991 R will prices Tank?"
...just in a world where car derivatives exist
thankfully such a calamity didn't happen yet...mkt is still driven by physical cars supply.
I do not think so many 911R owners are willing to deprive themselves of it, 90% of them don't really care to make a profit on this car, 100% of them know exactly how special this car is...
911R is not a wingless GT3 and 991.2 GT3 will not be a winged 911R, even if a "touring" version will be quite close...the pleasure of owning/driving an R goes beyond a mere algebraic sum of its parts...

R won't be trading for MSRP until next recession.

the idea of someone doing wing delete on a GT3 so they can be a 911R wannabe is really so far outside of my comprehension I have to start slapping other people's foreheads instead of my own
