I just ordered a set of the WR7s today. I am excited to get them on, and see how they respond to track use. I currently run the HRE P101s over the OEM wheel, and they have performed well on track. These look to be lighter, and just as strong so fingers crossed they take a beating.

PS. I may have some HREs for sale.

Those WR3s are great. I've always been a sucker for the HRE p104 type style

Great, that is very exciting! Thank you and welcome to the team

They will absolutely take any abuse you can throw at them.

What finish did you decide to go with ?

Thank you! and yes, the HRE P104 is a great looking wheel.

Split 5-spoke wheels are a timeless design

Here are some renderings of your car with the new wheel set in a few different finishes!

Also, thought you may like to see some behind the scenes photos of your wheel set in Engineering

I'd have a hard time buying a set of wheels from a brand with zero motorsport experience over say the BBS FI-R which is proven to be lighter, stronger and more rigid than the stock wheel. Fancy instagram friendly renderings and "behind the scenes" screen shots of some computer screen doesn't win my dollars. I'm pretty over social media shops.

Just my $.50.

Thank you for your feedback, very fair statement to make and we do appreciate your perspective.

BBS is a company that has been around since 1970 and has had the last 47 years to play in the Motorsport realm. Every brand has to start somewhere, as did BBS.

Unlike most newer brands that you do see online, all of our Engineers are certified Mechanical Engineers and we only use the highest quality APP forgings for the production of our forged wheels. If you don't already know, APP is the same forging supplier that Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. use for their factory forged wheels. Furthermore, all of our forged wheels are tested to SAE, TUV and J2530 certification standards to ensure strength while creating a lighter weight wheel than OEM.

Here is a further look into our production processes should you be interested:

Finally, I apologize that our thread has rubbed you the wrong way and perhaps even ruined your day. While you may have a hard time buying wheels from a brand like ours, there are people that seek to find confidence in a company / product that allows them to try something new. Fortunately, their are people who dont share this mentality. If everyone approached new ideas and companies with a closed mind, the world would never have the chance to see innovative companies such as Lamborghini and Koenigsegg flourish.

Complacency is boring.
