A busy year for me.
964 RS in two weeks if seller accepts my offer
M2 in March
GT3.2 in July
AMG GTR in August.
All confirmed. Keeping other cars. Wife not happy. 1 or 2 may have to go.
Also looking at 964 Jubi. Might pull the trigger on that too.

One thing I've learned having had my 991 GT3 for both street use and track use with a club sport package is that it's not perfect for both, as that would be a duhhhh moment even before I got it. But at this point in time, I wanted a car that could do both. In the future I know the direction I want to take. Have a Sofa for the road, and a Cup car (or something to that effect) for the track. Don't see GT cars in my future if they start loading them up with tech.

He's in Europe - deliveries for that market are several months before US. Fall is more likely for US deliveries (or very late summer which goes to late Sept)

Have mentioned this in other posts. Dealers in Europe start getting cars in June, the first month of production. My dealer has 4 confirmed allocations for 2017 starting in July. I have secured his first delivery. Cars should start appearing in the US late 2017 as I believe all initial production is for Europe.

Just for reference there were a very few <10 RS's built in May 2015, around 40 in June, and around 150 in July for North America. Of course they take more time to get here. It's hard to say if they follow the same pattern with the GT3.2.

Still hopeful for gt2rs delivering what I want. Or as last option the "cup edition".
Still in Dubai and staying by the walk. I now understand what people use these cars for. Driving around doing 5mph and revving to redline so the buildings shake.
Oh, well. Whatever makes you happy.

On the plus side, he did confirm that he should be able to get me a car when it's released.

I mentioned this to my dealer today and he laughed. Said there is no way we'll see GT3 deliveries in the U.S. this year, given how far behind Porsche is on everything in the pipeline. In his opinion. I'm hoping he's wrong of course.

I'd be very surprised if they aren't building GT3's by June. They are done building RS's and R's so they should have the capacity. Why would they wait?
I think any delay in marketing the GT3 too early would be because they just announced the GTS and don't want to steal its thunder. Any dealers trying to sell GTS's?
