Don't tempt him too much, I'm afraid Phil has caught the track disease and his next step could indeed be a late model cup car!

PS I too am afflicted, my stable includes a Spec Miata and an e36 BMW Chumpcar.

^ not relevant to Phil's talent;
but there was a fellow yesterday with a 991 cup with P intelligent livery very sharp car with passenger seat running in the student group @ Wintersfest

That's not a slope , more like a cliff for that chap.

My first introduction to the track was the school at Spring Mountain Motorsports, great time, learned to really heal toe, felt very comfortable. Came away wanting more.

My wife was super insistent that I have all the protection of a cage, belts, HNRS, etc. I bought a Spec Miata and signed up for a local DE. Going from a 3pt belt to full harnesses in a fixed aluminum seat with a head and neck restraint felt like a cliff, I can't imagine making that jump into a Cup.

The move from DE to racing didn't feel nearly as steep.

Looking forward to tracking at AMP with Phil later this spring.

Ryan , my thought more reflecting the cost curve vs. learning curve u r referencing ;

u r a fortunate fellow to have such a tolerant and caring intelligent wife . congrats 2 u

Guess I best stay back on topic ,don't want the "PT3's" oil PSI to get out of spec.

I'm thinking a couple-few years when the 991's come down a bit in price...hoping they do!

Thanks bud! All the colors look great....but I'm really digging the white. I originally wanted my GT3 in white but couldn't get a build-able allocation. Really happy I opted for white!

AMP for the spring event should be fun. A few new RSs to check out. And I'll probably have to put my hand out the window for Phil.

Congrats - can't wait to see (and hear) the finished product! The youtube video of your old car being tested at fabspeed is one of my favorites.

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to. But I'm gonna be just too slammed with work to make it happen.

Necessary evil.
