CJ I will come to COTA but watching 1000 cars on track in any driver skill configuration will be quite a logistical challenge. I help run an event at NJMP every October and we have 160 participants and thats a track maximum.Jon in Delaware

I think we can get 1000 GT (CGT, GT1, GT2, GT3, GT3RS, GT4) guys together for 200 bucks each and rent COTA, do a huge bash...

takers?

There are a good number of us RS owners in the Mid Atlantic. I would be happy to help organizing an event with a charitable beneficiary. High end kind of event where we spend the weekend driving fabulous Eastern PA Roads. Staying at a high end resort with a fabulous Dinner and breakfast. Couples oriented. What do you think? PM me so we dont take this thread off topic. Jon in Delaware

I also like the idea of an "RS club". Maybe one locally in NJ/PA/NY?

Someone willing to head up an effort on this?

Ferrari tried to set a world record with a 1000 car parade at Daytona this fall, took hours, proceeded at a snails pace and fell short of a 1000 car record.

1000 cars anywhere is more car show than driving enthusiast gathering.

5000 classic cars in Daytona for Turkey Rod Run has a definite slowing effect on traffic for miles around the speedway.

40000 cars and 1.5 million spectators make the Woodward dream cruise a huge, sprawling, crawling traffic jam.

I'm in. Also count me in for a GT3 allocation if you get that Porsche dealership.

Love the 911R. Hoping Porsche offers the next best alternative with the 991.2 GT3 MT 4.0 w/wing delete. If you need any financial counsel w/acquiring a P dealership, I can help as it's my specialty and I know many of the brokers. Good luck and congrats with your R.
