more importantly though, the issue was fixed with just that one trip to the service department.
my Audi always seems to need multiple trips to service before the issue is really fixed.

Also, these are Brit cars. Aren't they known for having bad electrical? Seems like McLaren is keeping the tradition alive!😉
Boring, lazy posting. People should just stop with these types of postings.

Independent/objective recall data and manufacture communications show that Porsche is by far the worst when compared to mac/lambo/ferrari. Note even close actually.

My local porsche dealer has 10,000 service appointments per year. Not all of them are the regular yearly service. The way people post on here and pit marque's vs each other would give the impression that Porsche doesn't even have a service department and doesn't even need mechanics.

I do hope the rumor is right that Mclaren really stepped up QC in 2018. I'd love to own one again. Sublime car....

I previously owned a 997.2 TTS with a Europipe/tune and sold it a couple years ago. I've been missing it and have been looking into getting another weekend car and track it 2-4 times/year. I was considering a 991 TTS, and just recently offered a very reasonable price to purchase a 2019 GT3RS with Weissach package. I've also been considering a McLaren so a few weeks ago I ventured in to a McLaren dealership and test drove the 570S and the 720S. I was highly considering the 570, until I drove the 720S. My wife test drove both and she said, "You have to get the 720". Uhhh....well that was easy...Looks like I'll venture into the McLaren brand for a while and hopefully I won't have many problems with reliability (or at least get some great customer service if I do). My 997.2 TTS had zero reliability issues.

Took my 600LT out of hibernation after all winter of driving my 991 turbo s cab (which I beyond love) and test driving the one stock 991 gt2rs and the tuned 991gt2rs...ugh the LT is f**king mental and utter driving insanity. The thing is just so light and fast, and gets the giggles out within the first moments of driving. Complete home run car for Mclaren.

sechsgang - wow! That 600LT is the bomb. A TTS and a 600LT combo is hard to beat. I am really going to have to think about that combo later this year. Need to drive it (the LT that is).

I love that color combo sechsgang. Is it too late to spec one of these? Are they all Spyders now?

It's beyond awesome...it feels like the 911r of the Mclaren line in a sense only with a little more tech (the playfulness aspect is actually surprisingly similar demeanor wise...and I know because I've got one in the garage as well). You need to find one to drive! I know Ogara has had a tester for a while, I'm sure they still do. Just ask for Tommaso, he's AWESOME there.

I THINK you may be able to squeeze a coupe in, however I think it takes a spider allocation away from the dealer and Im not sure how long it would take to get to you...but it's so f'ing worth it if you're looking for a car to really drive. There aren't going to be many cars produced that do what the LT does. The 720 is faster, the 650 or 675lt is something of a better value in a sense, but there is something about the 600 that just hits the "joy of driving" nail RIGHT on the head, it's even a riot on the road vs needing the track to really wring it out.

I spoke to the McLaren brand manager for Switzerland at the Geneva show last week and he said that although coupe production is winding down, they’re still happy to take an order from anyone who wants one.
