Let it play out ......why would a guy burn his own car that has oodles of them, and risk going to jail. Guy can be perceived as a DB, but doesn’t mean he burned his own car. Other hyper cars burn, and this is the first I’ve heard the owner did it ....gee wiz hello 2019.

Why so much hate for the guy? I don’t watch his videos and had no idea who he was but his story seems pretty fascinating to me:

As much as he's known for deceitful drama and causing trouble with different manufacturers.. I don't quite see the motivation for an insurance scam on a Senna atm. He custom ordered it so presumably he paid MSRP, and they are trading $2-300k above MSRP. Where's the return on the massive risk?

Dang guys, and I thought I was jaded, lol. Kinda sad when a fellow car enthusiast has a special car burn to the ground, and the first thought is he committed a serious felony.

He did not custom order it.
He paid a guy from OC/ thru dealer 500k over
Slapped his weed company stickers on it.
Bought it as a corporate vehicle?
Replacement value is X.Xm

He gets check, mclaren replaces him a car at msrp

Sure, because any insurance company that's still in business will just pay him X.Xm without interpreting a msrp replacement (a below market gift) from McLaren as their admission of fault.

Mildly spicy; I thought I was hallucinating when the title of his initial upload was "Buying a $1.5M Hypercar", which then inexplicably changed to "Buying/Picking up My McLaren Senna"

Seems strange to say the least. He was definitely planning on using the car to promote his cannabis brand.

He is good at marketing. Everyone is talking about this incident and he is getting free advertising for his weed company and YouTube channel.

I never said he did burn his own car but when I was in LA this summer I heard plenty of stories of his shady business ethics. I never did do any research to verify these “stories” but would be very cautious doing any type of business with him and his associates.

I would be shocked if he did this on purpose. I am going to assume that this is not the case, and see where the facts take us.
