So if I see a McLaren at Sebring...should watch out and not try to follow. Mental note taken

THIS is what is wrong with the world.. when a sales rep makes a video to let you know exactly HOW to approach her, and how to make an appointment with her. SHE tells the customer how THEY can build the relationship with her.. getthefcukouttahere! Build a relationship?.. as in, how you'll allow me to buy multiple cars from you?? amazing, a-mazing.

Values in our society are completely twisted when a used car salesperson tells a customer who wants to spend $xxx, xxx or more exactly what the protocol to talk to her is. **** this.. what a joke. How about, a youtube video about how children should respect their teachers, or elderly people, or their parents. Or how the used car salesman should talk to customers?

I've been in sales, i made a comfortable life out of it until recently, in many ways i'm still in sales just selling my knowledge now instead of equipment.. but I would never ever think of treating the customer, every potential customers, as anything but pure gold.

This video made me so so mad.. so mad. i'm so so mad.. (where is that headbanger face??)

EDIT: FOUND THE HEADBANGER FACE... !

Ouch.

Where's my tequila.

To be fair they've continued that legacy in their new Mustang, as well. Alan bit the wall on driver's right at the exit of the carousel on lap 1 at Road America.

Makes sense. I read that GT4 race cars were supposed be priced around 200K EUR to help keep cost down.

That's the idea but these GT4 homologated cars from Chevy and such are starting to get a bit hilarious. Gurney flaps, aero flicks, gnarly wings etc.

Porsche showed up first to the fight with a knife and now everyone has a gun. The next gen Clubsport will resolve that.

Question for CJ:

Can you just walk in and buy the McLaren (the 225k one) or is it a bull**** Porsche GT3 style allocation system.

Not sure what situation is like nationwide, but here in Denver, Mike Ward Mclaren... 2 slots open for 720S, no Mclaren history needed. You can walk in tomorrow to get the dice rolling on a build. Recently test drove, rather ludicrous as expected. If GT3.2 6spd allocation doesn't pan out for me, thinking 720S + Larini exhaust or used 675LT is in my future. 720 weak on the auditory front imo, needs help. Same goes for 570 GT/570S...they have at least 6 in stock ready to go.

I talked to the McLaren dealer near me, every 720S allocated to the UK till the backend of 2018 is sold, but I could order one and I could go on the list, I could order an MSO one if I wanted, I'd just have to wait. He's not taking deposits for Spiders or LT's because of a lawsuit in the UK (against a Porsche dealership) over a deposit.

They are very relaxed and forthcoming, I explained that I was window shopping as my wife has barred me from purchasing a two-seater, likely till our children have children. He was still happy to help, and let me test drive some stuff, which I'll do next month.

Trying out something new for a minute.. GT3 arrives in dec and got nothing in the interm. I fell in love with this little girls older sister, the 720s during the mclaren rally this week but that's out of my budget.. so.. going to give this a little try.
