The roof scoop on my 650LM was awesome.

The 675LT spider sounds better than the coupe- your ears are closer to the powerplant.

The 720S will sound the best out of anything so far that Mac made.

LT will still be the "most aggressive"

you can read about it here...

I will tell you that the coupe definitely sounds different than the spider as the spider has a rear window that can be dropped to hear the engine although I think the coupe looks better (even though I own spiders).

The coupes with the scoop are pretty rare. With regards to finding an LT I'd touch base with McLaren Scottsdale or PM CJ Ichiban.

Thanks for the info.
Would love to speak with them but in not in U.S.

I like a lot of things on the 720s but exhaust note (as per youtube and other reviews) does not seem better than 675. Have yet to hear it in person.

Do you see the 675LT prices holding up when the 7xx lt will be introduced?

At the moment i'm trying to decide between LT ,488 spider and Manual .2 GT3 if i am to keep just one car.

I would really appreciate your input on this.
Thanks

The LT is the limited production model of each car you listed. Only 500 coupses and 500 spiders. Production levels of the other two cars are substantially more. Question is what do you plan on doing with the car? As much as I love Porsche I think the LT is the one to own if you could only own one! Upon driving is be surprised if you don't feel the experience is hands down the one to own out of the three. Most guys I know are not getting rid of the LT for the next flavor of the month.

The LT and 488 will eventually depreciate. The depreciation will probably be the cost of the GT3. Skip the LT and 488 and get the GT3. It's basically a free car.

Do you have an LT now? If so keep it and buy a .2 GT3. Sell which one you like least. 488 is ok, 812 is the one worth considering. I was on the 488 list but passed - car just doesn't do it for me.

LT is definitely better than the 488

If anyone wants a coupe or spider LT I will be very transparent. We will have a few trades to sell this summer but 50% of our 720 buyers are going to keep LT, and drive both. After a year or two they will sell 720 and try to get spider.

I have to skip or flip and am leaning towards skipping. The purchase of P15 looms large and also bp23.

So which will be a more of a McLaren's version of GT3RS - 720 LT or P15? I do not mean in price but rather in spirit/positioning. Also, how hard will be either of them to get, let's say if I start making calls this week?

P15 is next p1.

So if you have 7 figure car juice that's the one you want

I see. I was going off the old articles that it was supposed to be in the spot between P1 and Super series. If that's P1 territory, I'm not sure I have an appetite for that. 720 LT is very interesting, though.

Interesting, Car and Driver. Put the 720s behind the 488 and GT3/RS.....
