This thing, is two generations leap ahead of anything on the market. The want is incredibly strong. Other brands have so much work to do.. this feels closer to a pagani inside, and looks like a super clean design from outside. Complex yet clean... couldn't be more impressed

What I want to know is if it's faster than the Huracan Performante and AMG GTR with all their active aerodynamics. The trend is all about active aero and it keeps getting better. I have a feeling Mclaren is saving that for the "LT" version though.

As for everything else, yes I do think it's 2 generations above everything else. The CF chassis is way better than anything Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche has to offer.

the carbon fiber options are just ridiculous. I've been toying around with the configurator and what gets you is the hood scoops, everything else is generally already black and you can upgrade to carbon fiber but I think the contrast on the hood scoops is a must and when you pick carbon there, well hell, the rest of it has to match!

good thing they don't show prices...

A 650S Spyder is now 45% of the cost of when it was new where I live with just 7000 miles on it. It's so tempting.

Good chance to highlight some of the cars at the McLaren Scottsdale store - see some pics- options etc.

This one needs to GO (to a RL garage)!!

Interesting with all the expensive options that the front lift is half as much as on a Porsche...

That's because it's only about 25% as good - it's pretty slow to use vs the 991 lift.

Disagree. It lifted the entire car, and while it's tough to get to the submenu, there is a shortcut (hold left stalk up for 2 sec, then select with stalk. The fact that it lifts the entire car is very useful for bumps and rear diffuser. Goes up quite high too.

Once it's up I agree it is more functional, but I feel like I need to be planning ahead or blocking traffic while waiting for the car to lift. 991 is very fast once charged and to me that makes it safer to use.

Really my only minor complaint about the car is I wish the lift was faster.
