^^^ drool!

Maybe someone who race for a living can tell me...why does the redline area light up in blue instead of red?...I'm sure there are good reasons.

Pretty interesting sculpting, especially the air intakes on the upper edge of the doors.

good question!

i guess because green lights are somewhere else too - and/or maybe also based on possible dyschromatopsia.

further:
some have the green as "engine running" lights.
red to prepare.
blue to act.

interesting comment about the FW and the gear change, that's how the 991 R feels with the SMFW.

On my race car you can define whatever colors you want at whatever RPM you want.

Driving an R to Amelia in 2 weeks, can't wait to feel what that is like.. I've always switched to a light flywheel on my track bikes, and love how it forces you to be smooth, and how much the engine braking increases so you have to be ultra smooth with on-off throttle transitions. I have to imagine the R gives that similar feeling of "quasi-race car" which this gentleman describes.

Yep - pretty impressive way to build the car with no visible side intakes. What is also in interesting is the new PZeros developed for it have the same grip level as current Trofeos. They spent a lot of time getting the mechanical grip improved to go with everything else.

Did you put a deposit down?

No. I'm more inclined to wait and buy used after subsequent models arrive.

Yes, the airflow management on/around the entire car is pretty cool.
