Pretty sure i saw a spider version of this car on the weekend. The yellow popped for sure even on a slow roll.

Made this decision a few months ago and dollar for dollar i am a VERY happy camper. Really not sure what else gives this much of the exotic experience for where the pricing currently sits. CAlexio, happy to let you check it out next time you're at B Patisserie (my neighbor)!

Sure the speed is all fast, and you can tune it. But you cannot make it the same.

You could buy a 125k car, spend 50k on it, and NOT have the handling or steering or visual dynamic. You'd have a faster 12C
And you still have a 12c...

My point was that for 125K you can have more than the bulk of 675 performance, that's all.
If you "tune" a regular 911 by boosting the power in the turbos, would you say it's then the same as a GT3?

To your point, I believe this is what has contributed to the 675 depreciation. The 720 is so good that most would rather go in that direction. At some point I think the values will cross. I am patiently waiting for 7xx LT to be announced - I can only imagine how beastly that thing will be even for a kit car.

675/Porsche GT crs/ Aventador Sv cars (the track focused cars are darlings of car forums). In real life; people value comfort over everything. The typical middle age buyer who is crossing over from Bentley/Rolls Royce can't stand driving the track specific cars. They like the more soft cars that are more driveable. None of my neighbors (8 of them have a 720s); could stand the track focused cars of manufactures.

I test drove a 720S and wouldn’t think of trading my 675LT for it. These are weekend toys for me and prefer a more raw experience for those rare occasions. They are both bonkers fast and I couldn’t tell from the seat of my pants which one accelerated harder. The Senna feels more violent than both.

You have a roof scoop 675LT.. !! that's it, game over. I hate the term "collectors item" but that thing is perfect. B.patisseri in SF??

Ya in SF! You and your buddies were grabbing breakfast on motorcycles (a year ago) and I had just gotten back from a ride (cycling) through the headlands. We chatted for a bit before you guys boogied.

That is a really dumb statement from a guy like you, honestly. When you "tune" a 964 and get a Singer, do you still call it a 964?

Tuning and modding is really dependent on budget, and yes, absolutely you can tune an older car to exceed the performance of a new car or model in every way, shape or form.

I like tuning and modding cars. It's part of the fun for me.

675? Me ne frego. You'll understand the last part.

I think its totally fair to say that the "special" factor of a 675 vs a tuned 12C carries no weight with you. I think it's also reasonable to assume that for many, the special factor of the 675 (outside of any performance & aesthetic advantage CJ already outlined), is a very real thing that cant be replicated with after market upgrades.

Ah yes.. that was awhile ago. Good memory. I'm a cyclist now too.. heading over to hawks hill now hoping for less heat on the other side.

I think you completely misunderstood the analogy. You're carrying a very odd train of thought on this 675LT equivalency question which is a bit baffling actually.

But, no big deal. My general line of thought is that it's usually worth paying for the sportier version of a model, and it's not about speed, it's about all the individual components creating a whole driving experience which is greater than the sum of its parts. that's why a tuned 12c or whatever you were trying to say doesn't mean the same to me as a 675LT, it's not about the absolute speed, it's about all the bits carefully calibrated together which create such a superior driving experience. If you don't have the same needs and can skip the extra $125k that's great.. I often wish I were less picky too!
