I own both the 488 and 720. Been a "Ferrari guy" all my life. Love the 488. But the 720 is legit. The Real deal.

The 720's is a ridiculously fast car!! whatever that suspension is, you do not feel any road imperfections at all, Its that good!!. Manually a

djustable slip angles.

Pictures don't do it justice, in person it's a different thing.

If Porsche was selling it, cost would be double.

Im a Ferrari and Lambo guy too and its remarkable that Macca has elevated their cars to the same tier as the aforementioned brands. IMO Macca, Lambo and Ferrari are one tier above Porsche exclusivity and prestige wise.

That's the Mclaren Technology Centre near Woking, not London. It is an awesome place.

I assume you're referring to Robert Melville? We had dinner with him during the week of the 2017 Winter Ball which I attended for the Senna reveal (mine arrives in April). He's a super nice and passionate guy.

Logged 300mi in 2 weeks of ownership. Still under 1k on the odometer though!

Similar pace to the 3RS but feels totally different getting there!

Beautiful spec. I assume you meant to say similar pace to the 2RS?

Been looking at Mclarens for months. I want one next to my GT3RS, i feels thats the perfect 2 car stable. Trying to decide between a 600LT, 675LT, or 720S. I have always been a Porsche guy, this would be a big leap. Im not sure yet i have the guts to do it, but im doing my homework, and hope im pleased if i take the chance

All depends on budget and requirements. For me 675 is out - not because itís not a great car- itís been hailed as an amazing car. I just prefer something newer.

the 600 is more track oriented where the 720 could be a daily driver. If you get a 600, Iíd Minimize the carbon and keep the price point around 260ish if possible. Anything more, you are getting into 720 territory and if close to 300k, Iíd get a 720 all day long.

Contact C.J.- Iím sure he can find you a car. Happy to answer any questions.

having driven all the ones you mention, without a doubt it is the 600 for me, to complement the .2 3RS, one is not "better" than the other in any way shape or form, fundamentally the cars are so different that every time i read someone on here comparing them, it really underscores that they have no clue what they are talking about.

the criteria for me was as follows:

I track my cars, so this was the first priority, how does it feel when pushed hard.
emotional attachment, the 600LT here is circa USD 450k, so since I'm spending a ****load of $$ on a car i want it to feel special every time i drive it, i don't care for suspension softness, quietness, comfort, infotainment and so on, the only thing that matters to me on these "toys" is whether the experience is memorable and special, and herein the 720 fails significantly, i tried to love it, and in my spec it is actually cheaper than the 600LT, but because it is such a rounded car, and excels at many things, it just was not a memorable experience overall.

I guess a simplified way to look at it, is that i recall having the 720 for an extended loan to try out, i literally drove it a couple of times and left it parked outside, however i had the 600 for a day (track and street) and could not get enough of it, at that point the decision is simple, and no objective comparison or review or marketing spill can overcome the emotional "want" you have towards one car or the other

So the best advice i can give is figure out what YOU want the car to do for you, and compare the shortlist against that criteria extensively.

Yeah i dont like my cars "soft" main reason the 720 is last on the list, the 675 scares me cause of the hydraulic suspension is a fortune to fix, and could be an issue, the 600LT seems to check all the boxes..............Senna seats are a must! i sat in them and fell in love
