You have to be careful with the % of X example - it has to be close for it to count in terms of relevance. Nothing will compare to the high speed aero of the senna so on track some cars and some corners will be 30 mph slower

Top deck exhaust so I am getting a real bad visual about a down pipe. Explain?

They summed it up pretty well IMHO...merry Christmas all!
Magazine voting is always unique in that they are not writing a check. Surprising on the pista. 2RS I would’ve guessed higher.

Biggest issue for me on Mclaren is the rattles, Iris speed of startup and other interesting quirks and annoyances.

Porsche just always works. Fast. Reliable. Yet, not exotic.

I choose Mclaren and Porsche as my top cars all things considered. Porsche needs sex appeal improvement (outside of GT cars) and Mclaren needs real world improvement. So I’ll drive both for now and smile.

Any idea how the Senna would compare to a Radical?

The downforce is way different and the technology is light years a part. Different platforms and different goals.

You want the fastest street legal track day car at any price? Senna. Aero for years, power forever, best brakes in any car and the greatest technology available.

Radical has one of the best platforms for racing in the sr3 and sr8 (I own both) when you compare number of cars, availability of parts and price point. The RXC platform has been hit and miss in reliability and has negligible presence in the US. I wouldn’t own a current RXC.

To compare lap times, the SR8 is faster. Everywhere and at any track and in any trim. The Senna will be faster than the RXC in street trim everywhere.

My 570 and now my 720 do not rattle at all they feel tight as drum and the iris's seem to boot up as fast as any Porsche, think you may have been unlucky with your Mac ?

Just another term we use for the cat pipes off the turbos on McLarens and various other turbocharged cars. Though technically you're right, it wouldn't really be headed "down" in the 600LT would it? lol

Probably because they kept it on boil haha. The 600's redline is at 8500 ish rpm, so keeping it above 3k doesn't even take much thought... but yeah it definitely has a delay if you keep it in the 1900-2900 rpm range...not too dissimilar from my turbo S though, so it's still pretty relative...and holy cow when the boost is going by 3300 rmp and above, the response is insanely well tuned and ballistically fast.

Was your 570 an S? Mine is a GT and it’s the plastic carrying area behind me. I’ve thought my iris needed an update. I’ll advise. ”
