I still cant get over the amount of fire pops this thing does during even semi normal driving and being able to see it every time through the rear view mirror...which makes night driving another level of special, which rarely is something I look forward to in a low slung, not great visibility sports car.... Cj definitely has a point with the front end grip/directional change, VS my 650S, or even the couple 675lt's I've driven...it's really, REALLLLY good. Thats likely due to the weight and new tire compound to be honest, but wow is it impressive. The transmission is just so, so damn fun to boot. The pops and noises seem way more "honest" and aggressive than what Porsche's do (even if both are technically nuanced and exaggerated for the sake of our "enjoyment". More importantly, this is a car you get the sense you could slide and play with all day long and not have to worry about it biting your ***....and that's got to be the chassis work...really feels like a couple of the grand am cars I've driven in more ways than I can even somewhat believe. You do hear a few more engine noises/systems noises than in the 570, but you forget ALL of it when you start ripping down the road. If anyone is on the fence about one of these, I can tell you it's worth bounding over it as really, I'm not sure if anything else quite manages these feelings. The 675lt in comparison is still a more serious hypercar, but this is one is more "fun" and has a better infotainment system and comfort honestly (the suspension on the LT isn't harsh at all, much to my surprise). You absolutely can NOT go wrong if you want a hyper track day special! FWIW, this seals the deal that short of some awesomem really unique offer, I won't be heading to Porsche's GT department again.

That's what everyone else is doing, too. Everyone has limited financial resources and everyone has a number that they would NOT be comfortable losing. The "relaxed" ones here that "just drive and not worry about depreciation" are merely signalling net worth and/or earning power. Someone "relaxed" about $200k/yr depreciation on a McLaren, may not be so relaxed about $1mil/yr depreciation on a Bugatti, and someone relaxed about both may not be so relaxed about $5mil/yr depreciation on a boat.
200k a year depreciation??? Exaggerate much?

Finally an exotic I find appealing with the reviews to match. Congrats on the car Sechsgang! If I see two fireballs fly by me on 76 in the night I will expect it to be you lol. I definitely hope to see you around with it. If you're going to any events in the near future, or just want to stop by our place in Willow Grove, I'd love to check it out.

If the 600 is half the fun of my 720 (which I assume it is) its likely an epic car. Every generation of cars Mclaren has been leaps and bounds above the previous generation. They are doing some good things. I love my 720 - not sure adding a 600 to the garage makes sense for me as Id have to sell my 488 which Im not willing to do. I dont track (never done it, need to start). But happy to see some great cars coming out that are actually accessible. The more choices consumers have, the better it is and the less games these dealers can play.

Ive spent plenty of time in 720s and overall it's actually one of my favorite usable hypersports cars ever made. The pull is second to none and it's just so utterly usable. What it doesn't have is the holy s' handling immediacy and bombastic razorblade persona the LT has...even though they are definitely similar, I cant believe how different the drive style is in each...could EASILY see adding it to a 720 even with shared heritage...shame you don't want out of the 488...that would be a no brainer for me, but it's hard to move stuff you like if thats the case haha. Or just stay the course and pick up a 750lt, which I cant even BEGIN to imagine how crazy it will be...

Right now very happy with my stable of cars and still enjoying the 720 so no rush to add something else right now but let’s see what 2019 brings. In the process of exiting my company and launching another so will see what that brings.
