i'd agree with that. The 720 to me has gone too far toward being a GT type car, albeit a bloody hyperspeed one and has lost something of the 'sports car' feel imo.

im on the fence on buying a 720 s or a 675 lt . drove both but that hasn't helped much. the lt feels much more raw and the 720s is faster and a newer design/tub...hard choice

I'd be inclined to discuss it with your dealer in terms of "What purchase will get me an order on the next LT?", while there are obvious differences between the two they're still amazing cars.

Nice problem to have. Obviously there is not wrong answer BUT IMHO The only reason to have a LT is If you have a full race car and want to add a LT for other track days. Otherwise the 720S is giant step up from the 12C based 675 LT. The 720S is like a swiss army knife while the LT is obviously much more track focused. You get more mech. grip and far superior GT car plus a much nicer interior for date nights/trips etc.

just my 2 cents.

Maybe one day i will fall in love with one. Who knows. I didn’t care for the 991.1 GT3 looks-wise (preferred the 997 aesthetically) but totally changed my mind. Now i think it is the 2nd best looking (only to the 997 RS 4.0).
Looks aside, I drove a 570S on track last week (courtesy of CJ) and I have to say, it is a lot faster in a straight line than my 991.1 GT3. May not be a better car but these things are fast...

Saros is an amazing color! I believe one of the best on that car. I think the performance pack is the way to go instead of luxury which it appears you chose. Don't know if care much about the radio but I would likely upgrade the radio - the next buyer will likely appreciate it. Other than that the rest is up to you and your pretty much looking at MSO options. The only MSO option I'd consider would be the air brake in carbon fiber - might be a good contrast especially since your mirrors have the carbon finish.

Have fun in that thing!

Agree with all said....and although the LT is a more track focused car...by simply avoiding the "active" button and employing the normal/normal mode settings you have a very compliant and useable ride for public roads.
Entry and exit are most certainly more challenging in the LT.

Not really an expert, but I think it looks pretty good. I would go with either liqud metal or diamond cut wheels though. I test drove a Saros over Black/Yellow and I think Black/Orange will look better.

Mine is going to be Volcano Yellow over Black/Yellow, so a little louder.

Get the 675LT. It looks better imo, performs almost as well and will retain its value more. The 720s's will drop once the LT version comes out. Once the 720 LT version comes out, you can trade in the 675LT for it.

Saros is absolutely an awesome color as Bhub says. Very liquid/ futuristic in appearance.

Some people "only get white cars" or only "murdered out blk/blk" but the flexibility of mclaren to paint or select almost any spectral color is a nice alternative to the other brands.

Based on the McLarens and Porsches I've seen in the flesh, McLaren's color options are generally much better than Porsche's. There's a Mini dealer next to my Porsche dealer, and they have better color options than Porsche too.

Read over the weekend that a number of McLarens have started to develop Aluminum corrosion on body panels (pictures look like rust under the paint). Looks like repairs have been done under warranty thus far. Another something to think about.

Any information on whether this is galvanic corrosion and if so what the aluminium was attached against?
