Damn it really is big! Tracking says mine should get here today so I just texted my wife to hide and give it to me for my birthday next week (she says I always buy everything and there's nothing to get me for gifts). lol

Default fake

Knockoff was ordered on Saturday from Aliexpress in China, and arrived on Friday in DC. Packaging was just a cardboard shipping box with a ton of little bags. They aren't labeled, but appear to be grouped by assembly section. Documentation looks good. Colors and pieces look well made. I'll post more info after I dig in further, but so far, so good.

So that's a "replica" of the genuine Lego GT3RS?

Whoever thought they would be making replicas of A toy car ?

I'm using cookie sheets for mine. Color-code them. Grey and black bigger pieces in one; red/blue/yellow in another, smaller connectors in another.....it's working out well.

I'd love to build one of these. What's it like in the flesh? From the photo it looks like an RS that somebody crashed and rolled over 3 times.

If that is what you are thinking looking at it in a pic, I doubt seeing it live will make a difference.

It looks the same from the outside as the images but the inside is impressive, you get to appreciate it as you build it up.

Having to help JR with it was alot of fun, at the end though it was like enough already!

Cheers

Each box and final product completion shots. Only problem: no PTS Voodoo Blue available.
