Interesting to see if the MT version has all the e-system's of the PDK-S car. Even the 911 R has a basic LSD without all the e toys, along with a much less calibration of RWS.
Personally, I don't see how all the e tech will work on a MT-GT3 car.
IMHO.......

PDK - E tech 991 GT3/RS or 991 R or perhaps older 997 GT3?

MT available? Yes
On a GT3, just as a tick-box option? no, because it's not as simple as that to make.
It would be too different to, and too much slower than the PDK version.
If that's what people want, they'll get it, but it won't be called a GT3 (IMO). Time will tell if the MT has the full fat engine.

As a road car, personally I find the 91RS a bit to harsh, 991 Turbo S, is a about best all round DD imv. As a road car I rated my 991GT3 none CS above the 91RS.
With regard to the 991 R, this is something very special, cars are just not made like this anymore, as soon as you get in and turn the key the thing feels alive. It feels like another 10% BHP wise over the 91RS. The MT change is like a hot knife through butter. It does not feel like it has a clutch its so light. Reminds me a lot like a 964RS. Its right up on its heels from the off, just wants to get up and go, drives and feels like its 1100kg.......
I save my R drives for a Sunday Morning treat when very little traffic is around. The Sunday morning news paper run should take around 10 mins. In the R it takes about 1.5hrs. lol......Its one of those cars that makes you just want to get up in the middle of the night go down to the garage, and just go wow.
Still have to pinch my self that I own one. Feel very lucky.

On track the 991GT3RS moves the game on so much more over the 997GT3, 4.0 RS included. I have done over 30 track days this year in my 91RS. Have seen a lot other 91RS also on track, from what I have seen very few actually get driven in a way to get the best out of the car. The last 5% gives a whole new car waiting to get out. I can understand that you have to trust the system's on the 91RS, even more so with regard to grip levels and DF.

I would not put it past Porsche to offer the 991.2 GT3 with manual or PDK, the 991.2 GT3RS with PDK only...and a 991.2 911R with manual only. If you think about it, they would be silly not to...
And then a Cup-for-the-street limited RS for the 918 crowd.

^ The scenario I proposed would cover the $150-220k range; the GT2/RS would slot above that.

All of this speculation is well.... so much fun! Lots of spinning wheels will get traction pretty soon, can hardly wait!
991.2 GT3 MT with or without a wing IMM is all that matters..

Anyhow, I don't give a crap about a wing delete option....for me...no aero = no care. I'll take the .2GT3 in manual in a blue car.
