12th year in a row, camped probably 90% of them, some better than others but always great stories to be had regardless.

We'll be there like every year. This year we're doing a motorhome overlooking the entry to the back straight. 4 TVs outside and a big tower to watch from.

Question for Rolex regulars: planning on going / there will be 4 of us - but only have 2 Porsche Suite passes. Need to know how long a trek it is to go from suite outside to the infield through tunnel. How much walking? Shuttles etc etc. thanks in advance. DA

The location of the suites results in quite a long walk, particularly if you want to get to the garage area. Shuttle is the way to go. Porsche has its own shuttle and the racetrack itself also offers its own shuttle service. The walk is through the "new" tunnel (turn 1of the oval) and somewhat manageable to the PCA corral.

quick answer is long walk 20-30 min (depending on how far in you want to go, not far to PCA corral but a bit longer to garages) but as everyone says take Porsche shuttles....they will typically weave around cars in line to infield so about a 3-5 min ride if well before race starts. Not much added even during peak times.
Make sure for those that have suite tickets you attend the dinner service, many famous faces from Germany will be there between the 7-9pm time frame.

Looking forward to it just need to hunt down a infield parking pass. Last year I had to pay $250 on ebay for one. Its looking like that will be the case again this year.
