Powerslider is quick as snot and lives at the Ring. I have seen his drives before and don't forget it's a BTG lap so it's shorter. I'd say it's absolutely legit...

Yes it's legit and the driver well known. It is however a bridge to gantry time IIRC so add 20s for full lap (ie 7.34). He has however run a corrected 7.28 full lap in the GT3 (BTG and corrected for the 250kmph speed fence that was in force at the time - this intact may be that lap - but I have no bandwidth to run the video and check)...

I was looking at YOUTUBE vids tonight at track times, the new AMG GTR just set a REAL fast time. I can't believe it is 18 seconds faster than a GT3RS and 11 seconds faster than a Ferrari 488.

Look at timestamps 0:20 - 0:25 ... slicks on the wheels instead of SportCup2 !

Look at 0:17 the right rear tire don't look like slicks

Just because they use tire warmers don't mean it's running slicks unless I'm missing something

IMO it should be mandatory to use the paddle shifters (i.e. no auto mode).

Surprising to see the lack of safety gear (clothing) for runs this aggressive.

And the GT R supposedly did this in 39F degree weather (terrible for Cup 2 traction) - see attached photo
