If you like the look of our popular VX1 but need a load rating that is suitable for dedicated track duty, then the VX1R was engineered for you! The VX1R is a full track-ready competition wheel equal in weight and strength to our famous GA1R and GS1R Competition Series wheels.
The VX1R features a sharp Y-spoke design (with long spokes that wrap around the lug holes), striking sharp angles, deep concave profile, and chamfered outer edge. The Forgeline VX1R is a fully-forged one-piece monoblock wheel that utilizes manufacturing technology similar to our very successful GA1R wheel. Beyond just beautiful style, the VX1R is engineered to allow plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitment. And the one-piece monoblock forging and computer-simulated FEA design process yield a wheel that is lightweight, stiff, and has excellent fatigue strength.
The VX1R is machined from a single forging of 6061-T6 aluminum. It is currently available in 18, 19, 20, and 21-inch diameters with a range of widths and offsets. It can be made to accommodate most 5-lug and centerlock applications. (Please Note: Depending on size, the VX1R may be available in deep, medium, or shallow concave profiles. See sizing chart for details.) And just like any Forgeline wheel, the VX1R is available with fully customizable finish options.

Competition Motorsport is proud to display the new Forgeline VX1R on the McLaren 650S spider. The pearl gray finish is subtle but complements the fire black paint of the 650S. The fitment is 20x9" front and 20x11" rear. The offsets result in a perfectly flush fitment. We wrapped the Forgeline VX1Rs in 245/30/20 and 305/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, the replacement for the Michelin Super Sports.

Mclaren chooses some of the ugliest wheel designs and finishes on their otherwise pretty cool looking cars.
