My GT3 engine just blew up

Will Porsche cover the other burnt parts of car? Other than the mechanicals/electrical and any ancillaries with motor provided. Who repaints the car? Don't know how long the fire was burning but I imagine you have to think about how much heat affected the metal panels and suspension bits etc. Probably cheaper if they just give you a new car. I would worry trying to sell the car and say car was on fire. Mike

Surprised the tire is holding air.

Comprehensive insurance should cover this. I had a friend who's turbo caught on fire, nothing like yours but his comprehensive insurance covered it. That is if Porsche doesn't cover the loss.

Sorry for your loss......
If PCNA handed u the keys to a '16 GT3, would your heart be in it? You've had a real rough patch.....

I'm not sure what resolution would make me feel good about this. Maybe a configurable RS as the replacement! I've got 15-20k in mods in the car so it is an open question how Porsche is going to address that. The engine fire chewed up a bunch of those. Unless they want to send the message that the intended use of their cars is bubble wrap, I simply want to be made whole.

No, when I had my last limp mode issue the resolution was to replace three injectors. That was about a year ago and it has run fine since.

Dominus is working for me this evening though if I were in your shoes I'd probably be shooting tequila!
