Default Production nuumber of Porsche GT cars

I came across an article that seems to suggest Porsche had produced 3100 991 GT3 and 6000 991 GT3RS as of May, 2016... However, the article is in German so I might had misunderstood it. Link: http://autovisie.nl/2016/05/nieuws/w...he-911-gt3-rs/

The article is in Dutch :-)

These numbers have been thrown around by many, even by Porsche insiders. Not clear if this is a way for them to undermine speculation or the truth.

The production qty of the 991RS is turning out to be quite a conundrum. Doesn't seem it should be so hard to get accurate numbers. Isn't that number about 1,000 more than Loess's number?

I thought Loess had the world wide 991 RS numbers around 3000 to 3500 with about 1500 in U.S.
