RS Availability
Clearly, anyone who desires to have an RS now can get one if flexible on specs. The prices have come down, and I bet there is room to negotiate except for the dealers that paid high trying to flip. Several of these cars I know, and they dealer paid north of 240k. Good luck to anyone who can get the RS they desire.

Prices look about the same as last month... cheaper one with sofas. The deal in Atlanta for the LO one seems pretty decent with cage/harness/PCCB but no lift. Is that Seth's car?

Dealers are not willing to move much on asking. I'm getting a $4-6K reduction on asking and I'm still holding out. At this point I'll wait until the Spring. Looking for White or LO with sofas.

Not sure what $$ you're looking for but it has sofas and a lower starting number at least.

This RS market isn't moving a ton until the 991.2 GT3s are confirmed to have NA motors and a manual gearbox. If those two things occur all bets are off. Just my humble opinion.

Do your due diligence. I have seen 210k 219k and 229k. Those are all around 20k to 25k over. I have heard of one open allocation at MSRP. I don't think we will see open stock at dealers at MSRP until spring or until .2 happens...

Most of the cars listed online are still in the $250K plus range and many have been sitting for quite a while. Some are starting to pop up in the mid-$220s and appear to be moving. There is a heavily spec'd LO with sofas on eBay for $225K Buy-It-Now. I agree with Sleepy that it will be interesting to see what happens when the 991.2 is finally announced.

There was also a heavy spec LO at Porsche of Nashville 2 weeks ago at 229k. FYI.

Now that winter is soon to be upon us, prices are likely to drop a bit more but then in the spring dealers may hold firm again. I don't think with the unveiling of the .2 GT3 at Geneva will make that much of a difference to the .1 RS prices.

Dealer that sit on these RS cars are still hoping that guy will walk in thru the door and pay the premium. Less and less are willing to do so. Prices will drop. It will just take a little time.
Not feeling sorry for the dealers that bought these cars for a premium and will take a hit on them.
If you play the game...... goes both ways.
