Default Which one...New GT 4 or 2000 mile GT 3

Hi guys. I am coming back to Porsche after a sabatical to try some other brands. Looking at a new GT 4 and a low mileage used GT 3. Drove both loved both. What are your thoughts on the two cars?

I'm assuming your talking about the 991 gt3 vs gt4. Hopefully you know all about each car, what the specs are, issue's, etc..... I chose the gt3 b/c of the looks, pdk s and it's a 911.

I went from a 15 991 GT3 to a GT4 and am quite happy with the switch. It really depends on what is imortant to you. Manual, PDK, mid engine, 911. If possible it would be best to drive both.

I once had a blonde girlfriend which I've loved but my mother didn't like her. I dumped her and got a brunette, which my mother liked. She said : " son, she's the one! ". It turned out she was a psycho. I then said I can never rely on what others think, including my mother and I'd have to make my own important decisions. Ideally I would've kept the blonde and a normal brunette...perhaps a redhead for diversity...all at once...but you know how that turned out...
So if you got to test both, but can only keep one, there's nobody who can provide a better answer than you.

Nick, you know what the rules are, no pics, no car. So in this case, no pics, no blonde or brunette. Lol

Personal experience and opinion only. And most of my track experience is mid-engine (986, 987). GT3 is more special and looks better. It's a better street/ road car. I like the GT4 better on track although it's slower. The 6MT is great and also the sound from inside.

Also read the GT3 engine replacement thread it may influence you. And read the track setup GT4 thread as it has some issues.

If I could only keep one, probably would be the GT3. But ask again tomorrow and maybe the GT4.

Wow - tough decision. I think it just comes down to GT3 Engine vs Manual/midengine.

I am sure I did not help you

Had the 991 GT3 now the GT4. Both are great cars. If you love Manual I think the GT4 because it will also be less expensive combined with an engine that is proven so no down the road surprises. I know - all cars have their issues but reliability on the GT4 engine pretty stout
