Trackdays it would have to be GT3. For backroads both are great but I would pick GT4 or better yet Spyder, especially if the turns are super tight and lanes are very narrow. If the backroad is not super tight then it will be hard to decide. Mark

If I could only keep one (including the 458) it would be the GT3
Wow, a very bold statement, when you even included the 458.

GT 4 is pure driving pleasure in all situations
and will harass a 3 on track everywhere but corner exit and straight lines.
HUH?

manually shifting is at once a chore and a pleasure?

I hear you, but right now I'm having too much fun with my Pcar. Maybe one day.

They are both great cars and both Special in their own right. Wow!!!-did Porsche hit a home run on all (3) GT models.

I would like all of them but if it were (2) it would be GT3/GT4. The reason the GT3 over RS is I just think it is the prettier of the two and I do not track so do not need to have the "best". The RS is not a good looking car. It does look the business and has an overwhelming presence but I guess you can see the beauty in that

The hot chic always gets you in trouble. Red head is my favorite.
CR GT4 was my choice after GT3. I think PDK-S is awesome if you're ways on the track. On daily basis it's lame and boring

So if you got to test both, but can only keep one, there's nobody who can provide a better answer than you.

And the award goes to: Nick

Congrats on getting the GT3! You joined a superb community here, and we all look forward to seeing those pictures!

Yeah Porsche did a number on the GT4 to keep it that way. Fun tapping into the hidden potential though, it's definitely there haha.

That GT4 is gorgeous, congrats! Message me some more pics of it, that's going on the back ground of my computer

GT4 feels lighter and smaller on the road, and Spyder tops that.

I own 6 porsches, and I go through a vicious mental cycle all the time deciding which one I like best or keep as my only Porsche. After driving GT4 or better yet the Spyder for a while, I tell myself if I have to get rid of all my Porsches and only keep one, it would have to be the Spyder with GT4 being close second. Then I get back into my GT3 and drive it and all of the speculation or doubt disappears. This is an amazing machine and I would never give it up. Something about that GT3 engine & its sophisticated suspension, that is so special. Then cycle repeats again after I get back into the GT4 or the Spyder.

So not sure if I am the right guy to give you advice on this except tell you that both are special machines and you can't go wrong owning any of them but my recommendation is to own both!!! Mark
Mark what a blessing and a curse you have! Not very many people have the opportunity for that depth of insight, although how do you choose in the morning? Did you make a "Wheel of Porsche" and give it a whirl? lol

Once again. Thanks guys. I have been on a lot of forums the past few years and I have to say that the vibrancy on this forum is unmatched in my experience. Porsche cars brought me back but lingering on here and listening to you guys exchange about your cars pulled me back as well. I'm tied up with work stuff right now but I'll post some pics of my sweet white GT 3 in a few days. I'm excited to show her off.
