Looks kind of cool without the wing.

Interesting ... I was thinking of bringing the GT2RS to the Tour De Force this year and was thinking of taking the wing off to get to a higher top speed.

Perhaps that's not as good an idea as it first appears.

Maybe it's just me, but an RS needs a huge wing.

I ordered a pair and couldn't be happier with them. The quality and craftsmanship are superb. From the careful packaging to the detailed instructions. They even provided all the necessary tools for an easy DIY job. Test fit went great...just waiting to have them painted. Will use for these for street use and put wing on for track days. Sick Toiz even provided mounting hardware for the stock wing so you can mount it to your wall to safely store it off the ground. Great wall art as well!

Aesthetically stunning..
any comments on how you car drives at over 80mph and if you experienced any of the difficulties with the unscrewing of the wing upright screws/cf engine cover mating?
How do the winglets connects to the CF engine cover holes?
Cheers...

Thank you catdog2. I was only able to test fit the winglets so I do not have any driving experiences yet. The winglets attached at the same location as the OEM wing using hardware provided by Sick Toiz. A very simple process. I did have an issue with one of the screw inserts coming off but was able to get the insert to adhere back in place with no apparent issues when reattaching the OEM wing. Here's a picture with the deck lid up.

That looks very nice. Curious to know how you addressed the screw insert that came off -- did you have to re-glue?

@ audiophilitis: Use 3M dp420, clean the outside of the insert and the hole with isopropyl alcohol. Put a thin film on the outside of the insert and in the hole in the deck lid. Screw the insert into the hole using a socket head cap screw or one of the wing attach bolts with a light coating of grease on it ( to prevent any stray epoxy from bonding it to the insert). Set the insert so it is a little bellow the surface. Let the epoxy set for at least 24hrs.

@ racer959: thank you.

For those that like these winglets, I would imagine there’s an enterprising individual with access to a 3D printer (using a suitable media) that may produce similar results at possibly half the cost or less...since these winglets are painted, the type of material may not be relevant. Just an idea...
