Very nice. After market? Porsche OEM outer sills only has a CF insert rather than the whole thing being of the material, which is a shame.

Thanks, not that I know of. I bought the car with 1200 miles. They might have done something special for previous owner who's a 918 VIPer; he moved on to a froggy RS.

I guess if someone buys your car, they can put stock ones on. Some of these wouldn't be a issue for me to have as a second owner.

Haku
Love the sills. It is very nice artwork. I hope/look forward to making a smokies run. Sounds like a wonderful trip & even better people for a great cause.
Cheers

Yep. It's a part you can get from the dealer/Suncoast.

Hi guys...sorry if I draw out this old topic but probably here someone knows!!

I'm ordering personalized carbon door sill for my coming .2 GT3 but can't find the exact maximum admitted dimensions for the logo

OP says "about 30-35 cm length x about 2 cm height" for the entire phrase; do you have more precise numbers?
30 or 35 cm makes some difference having to choose the font and the words and wanting to fill the space as much as it is possible...

Many thanks and greetings from Italy

Sorry, can't answer your question, but just a word of advice based on my disappointment, try to make sure that they deliver them without the aluminium plate that I received (at least I expected fully carbon sills)

Just a heads up and on an issue that I was somewhat disappointed with when I ordered the carbon custom sills. Be aware that the actual piece (insert) that the design is cut into by PAG is NOT on carbon fiber. I had thought it would be on carbon and thus blend in fully with the rest of the carbon sill. It does not and looks quite different.

IMO, best to stick with non custom choices.

Yes a full carbon plate would have been better for sure...but that is

Haku or the others...could you please give me the exact sizes length x height of the "grey plate" on which the made your custom incision?
Possibly in cm

They all seem of the same size, doesn't matter the logo is short or long...

Here you go. Multiple colors, all carbon, no grey inserts, all OEM.

there are the ones from configurator and the special CXX custom door sills as done by UNOTAZ.

Outrageous price will be the limiting factor

@Haku - great design.

Is your door sill considered a "personalized" piece? Or is it an exclusive item that is beyond the ~$1600 Porsche charges for a personalized plate because of the custom logo/font?
