I may be able to make it. I own home there and park some nice cars but I'm not usually around.

What is VV? Is it the Lafayette C&C? I've never been to that.

I went for a spin up in my GT2 around Black Hawk/Boulder / Lyons/Netherland/Estes/... a few weekends ago and the traffic was so heavy and the speeds so slow...every other car was from out of state...I went home...parked the car and took out a motorcycle instead.

I bet! I was trying to make a loop in my mind. I think 285 to buena vista and up 24 through Aspen and into Glenwood would be a nice overnight. Hotel Colorado & there are some nice restaurants in the area. Take over Doc Holliday's with a Porsche group. The Pullman for dinner is a winner if anyone likes my idea. Be sure to post.

You nailed it. Those two are awesome. Still planning it out, and I want to get everyone's feedback before settling on the route. But the 285 to Breckenridge is solid. Did that about a month ago. The canyons towards Golden are a personal favorite, with the streams AND tunnels. The car is sick at 9k rpms through those tunnels. Epic!

Too bad you aren't in the area anymore! This area is pure driving heaven. Pine Junction is a good one, so is Pleasant Park heading towards Castle Rock. Estes Park, Grand Lake, etc. The hardest part is picking which one.

I bet a lot of people are in town moving their out of state kids into Boulder. 93 was a parking lot.

Sweet! I'm part-time in the area at least I tell myself that with the epic pass. I'm somewhat considering driving the GT3 out to CO and onto Monterey for car week.:evil grin:

I picked my Cayenne S up from Prestige in Denver. Great experience w/ the brit at the store (Graham). Photo in the canyons and then a photo in Channing, TX. Only issue is making sure the hwy is clear of tumble weeds w/ a GT3. The Cayenne sucked em up and turned 'em into twigs.

Wait for me! I'll have the new GT3 back next Friday. Still waiting on GMG roll bar and for my tech to get back to do the install.
