Size: 161.8 KBfirst remove the tips.....take all 13mm nuts off, 5 per side..... loosen the hex head bolt on both cats (this will allow for you to push them outward)...... remove hex head bolts on both straps that wrap around center muffler.... pull straps down to allow the muffler to come out..... pull the retainers and ceramic donut out of the way as far as possible (donuts are very brittle, and if you plan on using again you will want to be careful)..... carefully pull muffler to one side then lower the opposite side down and pull away from car..... pull all of the straps, retainers, donuts off.... clean all 4 pipes of with damp rag..... put new GMG clamps on the pipes 1st , make sure they are positioned in the right direction for tightening.... install GMG pipe in the same manor you removed muffler, note the relief cuts in pipe allows you to see how far the pipes are inserted, you will spread you arms out and reach your hand around each cat and pull them together to insert the pipes with more depth, you will be able to feel everything going back in place.... stand back and perfect the adjustments to be symmetrical... tighten the clamps , rotating upward so the threaded stud do not hang down visible when looking from rear of car, tighten hex heads on cats.... completed project! It sounds much better on the RS, lots of snorting and burping, love it!
