Stick with the GT3, there is no substitute in that price range. It has it all....looks, performance and value.

Thank you!
Based on current generation gt3, reliability seems to be questionable. And you have to wait a bit for msrp as well when it first launches. So unfortunately, a bmw is comparable.

I am sure they would. I also own a 997.2 GT3 with Carbon buckets. To most its the ultimate car. Anything north of 2 plus hrs and it kills your back. I would expect the Viper to be worse.

Z06 or Nissan GT-R? Looks are subjective (not my cup of tea). Both are faster than GT3 (for the first couple laps)

Or a Lotus Evora might be a contender.

Z06 is probably less reliable than a GT3.

Don't think that can run with a GT3 on track...

My ACR-E is better than my GT4 on the road. Drove the 1/101 from San Jose to San Diego with no issues. Your only issue is the mileage and attention from the Batmobile looks/wings and things.

I really do like what has been revealed to date on the AMG GT-R.

Why does nobody mention the Nissan GT-R as an option? How about the Ford GT350?

I did mention GT-R. The GT350 is manual only.

What about the new Honda/ Acura NSX? Not sure about availability. Track reliability unknown but Honda engineering and QA/QC is pretty good.

Closest comparable would of course be another 911. A Turbo would match or exceed GT3 performance but lack the excitement. A 991 GTS would be more true to Gt3 since RS naturally aspirated but it wouldn't be as fast not would it have the 4-wheel steering or excitement of 9krpm redline or PDK-S transmission (which is very different from regular PDK in feel), but at least you could get a proper manual transmission on a GTS.

All other makes (BMW, Chevy, Dodge, etc) are just so extremely different in looks and driving feel dept that it's not really a comparison.

If it were me, personally, I'd get a 991 GTS with 7-speed manual well spec'd. You can even get the fixed wing similar to GT3 and other go-fast options to make it as GT3-like as possible. That car would be a keeper.
