I wish they had gone whole hog in '99 when they went water cooled and put the engine in the worthless back seat area . Could have kept the traditional profile of the car too. If it's only the racecar that gets this then it will be like all those ''funny '' Trans Am cars with the V-8 being half under the base of the windshield or better still mounted up front in what was a front wheel drive car . I understand the '' special dispensation '' this will fall under , but I think it looks bad from a PR perspective and really is an acknowledgement of the limits of the rear layout . Hope the production car follows the racecar .
