I ordered a pool noodle and this purple thing came with it!
I thought some people might like to see how a GT3RS shows up to the dealer after it's trip around the world! I went up to the dealer to see it off the truck, and poke around. I get to pick it up on Monday! This will be a LOOOONG weekend.
Ultra Violet with black wheels, wing uprights, led lights and model designation. It ships with chocks in the front suspension, so it looks a bit 4x4ish. It is VERY dirty. Residue from the plastic they stick all over it is everywhere.
Very very dirty on the outside from the trip around the world. and I get a pool noodle! It came over on a boat from Emden called the Goodwood... insert joke here. Watching the Goodwood Festival of Speed now while I wait! I tracked its whole trip over online via GPS, as it stopped in Rhode Island, Miami, and then finally in Houston. Through customs and Porsche's port PDI, then a truck to DFW.
The car was still all wrapped on the inside, but I had to sit in it. After having the Alcantara wheel in my GT3, I opted for the leather option in the RS, I was surprised to see it has a black band for the center stripe instead of red or yellow like the stock wheel. It's throwing about 10 warnings on the dash as it ships with many fuses pulled, only about half a gallon of fuel, and a nearly dead tiny battery.

Congrats! Wonderful color, I went with the same. If you need a paint corrector in the Dallas area let me know, I had mine done upon delivery and am thrilled with the work.

They are black, It felt great, seems a bit thicker than the wheel in my GT3, but the stitching not matching is a bit disappointing. I have all of the stitching/leather options on my GT3, and all the plastic parts in the RS definitely stand out in comparison, I wish you could spec an RS the same.
