Default Braille Battery

Has anyone installed a Braille Li-ON battery (i48CE or i48CX) in their 991 GT3/RS?

997 Gen Porsche lightweight battery was low-profile verses full height stock battery. 991 Gen Porsche lightweight battery, which is not available, is full height. I see no reason not to go with the low-profile version given both are the same output (more than Porsche Lightweight battery) based on my experience with the 997 gen mounting and given 991 mounting looks virtually identical.

BTW, Braille offers a 10% discount to Rennlist members. Contact Gary Savage if you have interest. Savage@braillebattery.com

I installed the Braille i48CX in my 991 GT3 about 15 months ago. Dimensions are identical to the OEM battery, and weight savings is 36 lbs. Works fine. I am very happy with it.

Nizer,
I've had a CE in my '15GT3 since taking delivery.
Fit/function great.
Gary Savage provides excellent service.

Very reliable. But if car is going to sit for a couple weeks must put on trickle

I have one on a 7.2 and it sits for a month sometimes and it still cranks quicker than a lead acid battery.
